Sayings that your grandfather used to say!
I have heard some good ones and I wanted to share one with you. I used the statement, "When life deals you lemons, you make lemonade".

My account manager, Mike Pustai, came to me with one he heard from a young girl about 11 years old. It's an advanced version of mine....that I absolutely love...

When Life deals you Lemons. Make Kool-Aid. Then when they ask how you did it. That's my secret for you to figure out.

Another one my Grandfather used to say: "Jump'n Dyeing Ball headed" I have no idea what it means, but it is a little catchy. That was the short version. The longer version is "Jump'n dying ball headed, little green hornets". That really throws people off when you say it.

So now....where would you use this. Imagine your amazed at something, you would then use the phrase.

The other one my Grandfather used to say....this was used whenever he was stating he understood. "I see, says the blind man, who saw it through the knot whole in the barb wire fence".

I'm sure we all have our little antidotes. I love hearing new ones. Especially from 11 year olds.

Wings Up Commercial Pulled from Radio
Ok. I have had some good ones where I have bent the rules to the point where we've had our hands slapped. However, this time the entire commercial was pulled.

I want some feed back, and you are welcome to email me your thoughts.

Do you think this commercial is crap?
Do you think it's effective?
Would you find it offensive?

I'm cool with any of your personal opinions. I'm just curious if I'm way off the mark on this one.

Click the link below and you'll hear the commercial. Then you are welcome to email me personally adam@fpm3.com with Subject: wingsup commercial

Looking forward to hearing some constructive feedback.

Entrepreneur - is ANYTHING that generates money on your own

I was in my office this morning, and while I'm unpacking all my stuff I noticed outside my window across the street was a guy that was pulling out cans from the recycling and squashing them to put into a plastic bag.

My first impression was, Awe man. I feel sorry for that guy. Then I watched, as this guy had a vision and a clear direction to what he was doing. He had the work boots on, warm coat and was doing one thing. His job.

It's when it dawned on me, that this guy wasn't down on his luck. This is a guy that was an Entrepreneur. He was collecting all the stuff we call "Garbage" and was putting it into a huge bag to then take to a recycling warehouse that pays about 10 cents a can on the deposit. Anything over 1 Litre is 20cents on the can.

I took the time to watch him pull out about 50 cans at 10cents each.

The guy made $5.00 on one buildings blue box. It took him 3 minutes to pull them out and crush them.

If your still not getting it...Let me put it to you this way, he made $1.66 a minute. Or $99.60 an hour. That works out to $207,168 a year based on a 40 hour work week. That's also tax free as it's a return deposit meaning that the taxes are already paid. Technically Revenue Canada or the IRS could go after the guy if they could track his inventory or his sales receipts.....of which he has nothing.

I didn't feel so sorry for the guy anymore, but proud of him for taking the worst of a situation and building on it. That my friends is called Entrepreneur!

MORE Social Media marketing ideas.
Ok. I'm really on this Social Media kick again. I'm posting all the cool ones that are out there. Some are focused on building loyalty, others building now on the "winning". Very cool.

Tim Hortons - Everycup.ca Tim Hortons is looking for stories of you the consumer to respond to your experience and passion behind the Tim Hortons product. I have to say that I'm a fan of the product and believe that this is a great way to connect with the consumer.

Nission-HyperCube. What better way to talk about your newest product than giving it away and having all these "subscribers" find out more information and try to win one. All you have to do is give your personal profile and information and if you can define yourself as someone interesting enough you win. That's amazing. So if they get 10,000 people interested in the Hypercube wanting to win, they have 9,950 leads to chase down. Tell me that isn't awesome. Even better is that they have the data to better understand their consumer to focus on delivering other products they might want.

Fantastic. I hope your all paying attention class. There's a test in 5 years. The correct answer is....can you keep up with it all and do you have the time to do it!
