The Economy - Canada vs. USA
Canada somehow needs to wake up to the situation. When business is slow, you don't go stopping your marketing and advertising. This is when you increase your marketing efforts and push your dollars to outlast your competition. You of course do it within reason, I wouldn't suggest that you go out of your budget. You also need to advertise smarter. Go with what works and harder, as well shoot where the geese (Canadian) are flying.
The USA....god bless them. They understand it. Canada isn't even truly in the recession as bad as America is. Yet the USA businesses continue to focus their energy in talking about their products and services stronger than ever.
If you have a Canadian Operation and are looking to get your business to increase, sitting with your money under the mattress isn't going to grow your business. Think smart about what you need to say and do, then plan properly through this slow time to make it work properly.
Of course, I'm going to suggest our services to help you with this, but I think even more so, you should review your advertising and marketing strategy and build now. Your competition is cutting back, now is the time to take the market!

When you go to these Chamber events....they pay off! Our Client Service Manager attended the Burlington Chamber of Commerce before business and won a awesome prize.
