What is Social Media?Social Media is a broad term used to describe web-based tools, sites, or applications that engage users, create conversation and interaction, and facilitate sharing. You have probably already engaged in social media in some form or another, whether you have rated a trip on Trip Advisor, reviewed a book on Amazon, have a Facebook profile, or connect with colleagues on Linked In. The basic premise for social media is sharing, connecting, and interacting.
