If you regularly read our articles, you will know exactly what we’re talking about when referring to “Bitcoins”. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, click here to see Ellie’s Blog.
This past Thursday, the satellite television company DISH announced that they will now be accepting digital coins through the payment processor Coinbase by next September, a first for a company of this size. The coin price fluctuation won’t be a problem because Coinbase will automatically convert the Bitcoins into cash.
This idea was suggested by some employees of the company, who are avid Bitcoin users.
Bernie Han, DISH’s Executive Vice President, said that one of the reasons why the company agreed to this idea is because Coinbase’s payment processing fee is attractive compared to their competitors average fee.
Bitcoins are really becoming the new currency in virtual transaction payments, so you should start to feel comfortable with it. DISH was the first big company to adopt this payment method and we can suppose that many more will follow.
