Golfing in support of Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice

by: Adam

I finally got the chance to get out and do some golfing this year.  The weather held out this past week as we hit the course for an amazing and fun day of golf at Heron Point in Ancaster in support of the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.   We actually golfed really well too.  In fact, the best game I every played.  However, I have to admit I did bring with me 3 amazing golfers.   2 were killer on the drives and irons, and my putting pitch hitter. This is the 3rd year that we’ve (FPM3.com) has supported and sponsored the event and it’s bigger and better every year.   The people that came out to support were fantastic, and the food…oh man the food.  There was samples on almost every hole.  Including “Mother’s Pizza“, “Buffalo Wild Wings“, La Piazza just to name a few.   There was a…

My First Week at FPM3

by: Adam

It has been a week since I have started at FPM3 as a Social Media Marketing Intern. It has been remarkable, not only to work and gain experience, but also to belong to this great team. It is significant for a newcomer, after the cultural shock and the daily uprooted feeling, to feel welcomed in a workplace. It becomes a positive experience in the long and uneven adaptation process. In this week I had the opportunity to accomplish different tasks, including design and writing.  I have learned Social Media techniques like how to measure interaction in Facebook and LinkedIn platforms.  I have absorbed different ad agency insights in Canada, which is completely different to the way it worked in my previous employment. With a graphic design background, I never thought that creative writing and social media would be so important for a marketing & advertising agency. I have learned that…

Fingerprints & Brands

by: Adam

There is an old Greek proverb that wisely says “No man can cross the same river twice, because neither the man nor the water will be the same.” It is a great quote. It refers to the constant change and evolution but also refers to the differences. Every thing and living creature in the universe is different and as different, is special. The fingerprints are human traces of impression and have been used like a signature against forgery since ancient Babylon civilization. Fingerprints’ most common and actual use is forensics because each one makes a person unique in the whole universe. Each fingerprint is our personal brand. FPM3’s logo is based on that uniqueness. We believe that your brand is unique and special. We can help you to show your audience how unique your brand is too!

When Working With Us, You're Protected

by: Adam

We’ve taken our credibility a step further and now guarantee our clients protection with errors & omissions insurance. When choosing any marketing/web agency, you need to consider protection of your intellectual information (i.e. your ideas, your creativity, your personal information and values, and protected company data). Your agency of choice should be accountable, responsible and completely credible. Most small home office or basement operations don’t have the infrastructure or in-house talent to get the job completed when you need it done. To add to this statement, most small home office or basement operations, simply cannot afford insurance to protect their clients. At FPM3, we believe in protecting our clients and we do carry Professional Liability (AKA Errors & Omissions) insurance (definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_liability_insurance). We will provide a copy of our insurance certificate for any client who requests it. FPM3 believes in providing the best quality product and service to our clients,…

How Long Do You Want To Keep It New?

by: Adam

Bought a new car recently? Check out the  Keep it New brand new website, logo re-design and video commercial to advertise their newly offered dealership program for keeping driver’s new cars, ‘new’. Keep It New came to FPM3  to design and develop their new website as well as stationery items (Sales Sheet, Business Cards, etc.) with their eye on recording a brand new video commercial to promote their program. Their new website allows customers to learn about Keep It New’s core services and they can easily register through the Keep It New website form. Among all the services provided to Keep It New, we were especially happy with the commercial quality produced by our videographer expert Adrian Konstant. For more information about Keep It New services and to see the video commercial, please visit the their website at http://keepitnew.ca/

YouTube New Advertising Strategy

by: Adam

Have you heard about the YouTube paid channels coming up soon? On May 6th, YouTube, property of Google Company, announced they will launch a new feature allowing YouTube viewers to pay a monthly fee to subscribe to certain channels (i.e. The National Geographic Kids). The number of channels and countries where it will be available will be limited at first, but Google hopes to develop the idea and generate more revenue. And that is what this is all about: getting more revenue for YouTube but also for the company who uploaded the videos. Ever since advertising has been allowed on YouTube it has been a great source of revenue, but now it seems that it is not enough which is why paid channels could be the answer. Plus, you can choose whether or not you want to pay, so no one will ever be forced to pay if they want…

Skills Canada Event: The Green Screen Game!

by: Adam

FPM3 attended the Skills Canada event in Waterloo for OCAS from May 6th-7th. OCAS came to us with the idea of picturing high school students in a skilled trade and handing them a free picture with a QR code as a souvenir to remind them of how they’ll look working in their desired trade. FPM3 developed the picture-taking-qr-code-generating software for the event, with the ability to take a picture of someone in front of a green screen, remove the green screen, apply the image to a chosen background image, generate a QR code, slap it all together, and finish with a high resolution print, all under 2 minutes. We then use Adobe After Effects software to remove the green screen and re-size the picture before setting the background chosen (i.e. firefighter, police, paramedic, landscaper, fashion model, etc.). Finally, we send the picture to the printer. Since the pictures feature a custom generated…

We’re Adopting Lifesavers Park in Hamilton!

by: Adam

Hi there! FPM3 is proud to announce that we will be adopting Lifesavers Park located in Hamilton, at the corner of Sanford Avenue and Cumberland Avenue. You will probably ask ‘what does it have to do with FPM3?’. Well, from now on, and for the next 3 years, FPM3 will be responsible for cleaning up the park four times a year starting this Spring 2013. Not only will it give the park a better look but it will also allow FPM3‘s staff to develop its team spirit outside the office. We are also deeply convinced that it is important that each of us participate, with the time and the resources we have, in improving our community and make our city a better place to live in.   More information regarding the upcoming cleanup, Facebook page, and website are about to come!
