The new era of marketing is here – and the last thing it should do is scare you. Social media marketing through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are now considered traditional forms of digital marketing – but there’s a new player in the game who is making it’s snap: Snapchat. At FPM3, we are embracing this new, interactive app and using it as a platform to help your brand be seen.
Over the weekend, we helped Valentino’s Restaurant with their marketing materials before the I Heart Beer Festival. Aside from creating email newsletters, web banners and signs, our design department also had the pleasure of creating Snapchat Geofilters for the event.
Geofilters are an image overlaid on a user’s Snapchat photo – they are an opportunity to share your brand, and when users add that photo to their Story, they’ll be sharing your brand too! The filter highlighted Valentino’s newest offering, their Bohemian Val’s Ale which they were showcasing at the iHeartBeer festival. It allowed all the attendees at the event take a fun snap, with the Valentino’s branding and product in it too. The filter had almost 2,000 views!

Not only did the filter hold up in Snapchat, Valentino’s loved it so much they had business cards made of it too!
